Long Overdue

Hey There!
So this post is long over due. Man, I miss blogging.
Guess what? I don't take pictures of every little detail of my life anymore. It's quite sad actually. I used to have my camera attached at the palm.....and now, not so much.
But! I am here and determined to get back into the habit of blogging. My sweet man set up a desk and computer for me today in our home (oh, remember last time I was here I was newly engaged? We celebrate 6 months of marriage today. This post really *is* long over due.)
Don't know what I;ll blog about. Maybe just random stuff again...just keep it loosy-goosy.
Yep.
 Over and out,

Epic Pizza Recipe

Hey Gang!
Last weekend the boy and I made a pretty epic pizza. It was so good-I had to share it with you!
On the left we have a honey pecan bbq sauce with sausage, and red and yellow bell peppers.
on the right we have a pesto sauce (just bought in the jar at the store) topped with tomatoes.

Recipe:
1. Make this dough (from the lovely Pioneer Woman
  • FOR THE CRUST (MAKES TWO CRUSTS):
  • 1 teaspoon Active Dry Or Instant Yeast
  • 4 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 1/3 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    TO MAKE THE CRUST:
Sprinkle yeast over 1 1/2 cups warm (not lukewarm) water.
In a mixer, combine flour and salt. With the mixer running on low speed (with paddle attachment), drizzle in olive oil until combined with flour. Next, pour in yeast/water mixture and mix until just combined.
Coat a separate mixing bowl with a light drizzle of olive oil, and form the dough into a ball. Toss to coat dough in olive oil, then cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap and store in the fridge until you need it. ***It's best to make the dough at least 24 hours in advance, and 3 or 4 days is even better.

     2. Add toppings that sound good! (I just rummaged around the grocery store till I had what I liked)
    3. Add more cheese and bake! (preheated oven at 500 degrees, for about 12 minutes-depending on your oven)
    4. Inhale. Because chewing is for food network critics.
I've got to ask-because I love, love, LOVE pizza-what's your favorite kind!? Anything interesting I should try??

Toodles!

Howdy!

Well, howdy-doody, campers! Can I just say that I miss you guys? I really do miss blogging.

I haven't written a post in almost 2 months, and can I just say I still take pictures of everything-like a blogger-and when I take these pictures, I'm always thinking of what the title is going to be, and how I'll edit them and yada yada yada. After 2 months! That's amazing to me. So, here I am!

I can't promise that I will be here posting things often, but I am going to try to be on more often then naught. Because I miss you! Really. I miss the sweet and crafty cozy community that is here.

Anyways. No more moping!

Let's be real, the reason I haven't been blogging is because...*drum roll please* I have a boyfriend! ha!
and let's be real (yes, twice in one sentence) homeboy takes up a lot of my time.
and lets been real (third times the charm!) I wouldn't have it any other way.

That's the reason I haven't been blogging. Yep. But we've had so many adventures already, and preschool has just been bursting with fun activities (I'm now in charge of all my lesson plans!) and I don't want to forget about them!

So hopefully I'll be around a bit more. I'm going to start small-a post a week. :)

What have *you* been up to?!

toodles,
Laura

Things to do on Rocks

Should you find yourself in the wilderness, surrounded by some large boulders...here are a few things you can do.

1. Yoga.

2. Dance.

3. Dance some more.

 4. Bust out some gangster kung fu.

 5. Pretend to be the Little Mermaid.. and Scuttle.

 6. Plank. Or let everyone else plank and just look adorable yourself.

 7. Hail the Hydra!
(Captain America? anyone? anyone?)

8. Make a sculpture.

As with all things-there really isn't a limit.
Go big, or go home!

Happy Adventuring, Darlings!
